-Ring gear carrier bolt kit installed to replace rivets which often fail
-Two new timken ring gear carrier bearings
-Two new timken pinion shaft bearings
-New gaskets and seals
-All syncronizer rings replaced
-New main shaft bearing
-New throwout bearing
-New factory end cap
-Ring and pinion backlash set up to factory specifications
-Parts inspected under magnification

Ring gear carrier bolt kit installed to replace rivets which often fail.

Below is a example of a stock ring gear with factory rivets. As you can see a few rivets removed themselves from the ring gear housing. All the tops of the rivets were sheared off. The bottom two pictures show two stock rivets nicknamed "bells" because of their shape. These bells were originally made to hold the spider gear cross-shaft in place. You can imagine what happens if one were to let go. The cross-shaft has indentations on the outside of the ring gear housing for circlips. This is part of the Bolt Kit and the circlips are installed in all our rebuilds.


This is an example of a bellhousing case that had a rivet bell blow through it.

This is the inside of the same bellhousing. As you can see the other rivet bell lodged itself into the case. ALL of our transmissions come with a Bolt Kit.

(We are currently in the process of acquiring information on the 02J type transmission (2000-2004). We currently have 38 rebuildable cores but are not going to offer the product until we are absolutely certain we have a perfect product for the perfect price.)

Here is an example of a 02J transmission. The housing is the same style for all 02J type transmissions but the shifter housing can be different.
